PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic polymerized toner having environmental safety and fluidity which are both superior. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic polymerized toner is a substantially spherical electrophotographic polymerized toner containing a charge control agent, wherein (1) the toner has (a) a total residual polymerizable monomer content of that is lower than 70 ppm, (b) a fluidity of 55% or higher, (c) a residual metal ion content of 170 ppm or lower, (d) a melting viscosity at 120°C of 10,000-80,000 P (1,000-8,000 Pa s), and (e) a layered structure, consisting of a core material and a shell material covering the core material and having glass transition temperature higher than that of the core material, and (2) the charge control agent is a charge control resin.
