The universal joint has a Cardan joint (1, 2, 3, 7), a spherical cage (4), three rotation axes (8.1, 8.2, 8.3) and three connectors for them (5.1, 5.2, 5.3). The cage has radial borings with their axes intersecting at one point. All the rotation axes of the universal joint and the rods (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) may intersect at a single center point.
