An organic light emitting diode is provided to remove an organic interface in an organic compound layer and to increase mobility of carriers. An organic light emitting diode includes an interconnection and separation part(3410), a cathode(3405), and a pixel electrode(3403). The interconnection and separation part is formed by depositing a metal material having an etching ratio lower than a metal material such as metal nitride and etching the deposited metal material to prevent short circuit between the cathode and the pixel electrode or the interconnection. The cathode of a pixel has stripes.
