PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening implement which is installed on an inclined plane such as a slope, and which enables the conservation of soil. SOLUTION: In this greening method, the container-like greening implement filled with borrow is brought into continuous contact with the inclined plane, and lawn is provided in a stretched state on the greening implement. A protrusion directed outward is provided on the bottom surface of the greening implement, and brought into contact with the inclined plane; and a space between the bottom surface of the greening implement and the inclined plane serves as a space for the downflow of rainwater. The borrow is infilled into the container-like greening implement so as to be prevented from flowing out due to the rainwater; the protrusion is provided on the bottom surface of the greening implement; and the space for the downflow of the rainwater is formed between the bottom surface and the inclined plane.
