An optical adaptor for optical connectors is provided to enable a user to simply couple optical connectors with each other without using a jumper chord by mating different polishing surfaces of the optical adaptor with each other. A ferrule unit includes a ferrule holder, first and second ferrules, and an optical fiber, which is inserted between the first and second ferrules. The first and second ferrules have different types of polishing surfaces. First and second sleeves(140,150) contain the first and second ferrules therein, respectively. First ends of the sleeves are contacted with both ends of the ferrule holder. First and second adaptor spacers(120,130) are coupled with each other with the ferrule holder between them. The adaptor spacers contain first sides of the first and second sleeves therein. First sides of first and second adaptor housings(160,170) are coupled with the first and second adaptor spacers. Second ends of the first and second sleeves are contained in the adaptor housings. Second sides of the adaptor housings are detachably coupled with the first and second optical connectors, respectively.
