PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a shake correction when it is necessary to reduce the load of a CPU such as cases that shutter speed is short or continuous shooting is performed. SOLUTION: A subject image formed by a lens optical system 101a is picked-up by an image pickup element 101b, so as to acquire an image, and a shake correction lens 101a-2 is moved in a direction to be crossed with an optical axis. Thus, the image forming position of the subject image is corrected in the image pickup element, so as to perform optical shape correction. A control part 110 determines whether the shutter time in seconds in photographing the image is not less than the prescribed shutter time in seconds or not. When the shutter time in seconds is not less than the prescribed shutter time in seconds, the control part allows a shake correction means to perform the shake correction.
