PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device capable of performing an energy saving operation, starting the operation in a short time, and reducing its dimension and noise. SOLUTION: This humidifying device comprises a heating body 4 dipped in the water 2 in a water tank 1 and heating a surface of a cylindrical steam generating body 3 rotatably disposed, a steam generating portion 5 composed of the water tank 1, the steam generating body 3 and the heating body 4, and a main body 6 receiving the steam generating portion 5. The energy-saving operation can be performed and the operation can be started in a short time by intensively heating the moisture attached to the surface of the steam generating body 3, and the humidifying device capable of reducing its dimension and noise can be provided.
