A knee protector and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve wearing sensation while protecting the knee from an outside impact, and to function elastically according to change of the knee generated in wearing or exercising. A knee protector includes: a functional pad(100) comprising a central protector(110) corresponding to the knee, and an expanding protector(120) for expanding the outer periphery of the central protector left and right, and containing a soft functional material. The functional material includes a tourmaline for emitting far-infrared rays and negative ions, and zeolite having ion convertibility and catalysis.
