PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prohibit a battery charge under the condition of power voltage lower than or equal to the minimum circuit motion voltage in a battery device using a battery state monitoring circuit in cascade connection. SOLUTION: A signal output transistor gate provided on a terminal for sending an overcharge detection signal includes a control circuit for giving potential to turn off a signal output transistor at a voltage lower than or equal to the minimum circuit motion voltage.
