<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily and quickly reading information related to the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes: a movable image carrier 1 that carries a toner; image forming means 2, 3 and 4 for forming a toner image on the image carrier 1 with the toner; and a transfer means 12 for transferring the toner image formed on the image carrier 1 to a transfer body. The image forming apparatus 100 also includes a detecting means A for detecting the information related to the image forming apparatus 100, the information related to the image forming apparatus 100 detected by the detecting means A is formed on the image carrier 1 by the image forming means 2, 3 and 4, then, displayed as a toner image held on the image carrier 1 in a period when the image carrier 1 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
