<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an allergen inactivating agent comprising an edible plant extract as an active ingredient and a skin care preparation or an allergen inactivating product comprising the same compounded therein. <P>SOLUTION: The allergen inactivating agent comprises one or more kinds of extracts having allergen inactivating effects as an active ingredient selected from the plant group of Agrimonia pilosa var. japonica, Hypericum erectum, Camellia sinensis, Salacia oblonga, Vitis spp, Prunellae spica, Cornus officinalis and Chaenomeles speciosa.
