PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a traveling-type tea leaf plucker for picking tea leaves while running along a tea ridge, especially, to efficiently blow up the tea leaves by pressurized air flow and sufficiently feed the leaves without scattering the plucked tea leaves. SOLUTION: The traveling-type tea leaf plucker includes a plucking device A provided in portal frames 3, 4, a tea leaf storing device B provided at the plucking device B, a transport duct 8 feeding the tea leaf plucked by a clipper type cutting blade 5 provided at a cutting blade unit case 6 in the plucking device A to the tea leaves storing device B and connected to the cutting blade unit case 6, and a blow down duct 9 having a main blow up port 9b for blowing the blow air from a blower 11 to the cutting blade unit case 6 by directing blow direction upward after blowing downward. The traveling-type tea leaf plucker transports tea leaves plucked by the clipper type cutting blade 5 to the tea leaf storing device B through the transport duct 8 by pressurized air flow from the back of the cutting blade unit case 6.
