PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer member in which an electroless plating film having high adhesive strength is formed on a polymer base material. SOLUTION: The polymer member comprises a polymer base material 507 in which metal particulates are impregnated into a first region 505 to a prescribed depth from the surface and a metal film 509 formed on the surface of the polymer base material 507, wherein a part of the metal film 509 is infiltrated into a second region 509a having a depth shallower than the above prescribed depth from the surface of the polymer base material 507. Since a part of the metal film formed on the polymer base material is infiltrated into the polymer base material, a polymer member in which an electroless plating film having higher adhesive strength is formed can be provided.
