A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate is provided to prevent adjacent connection members from being short-circuited, by winding a boundary of an insulating layer, which is positioned below the connection members, or exposing a portion of the insulating layer. A substrate includes a display region, a chip region, and a pad region. A plurality of signal lines(SL) are formed on the substrate in order to connect the pad region to the chip region and the display region electrically. The signal lines have pads congregated in the pad region. An insulating layer(140) covers the signal lines. The insulating layer has a plurality of contact holes(187) exposing portions of the signal lines. A plurality of contact assistants(87) are formed on the insulating layer. The contact assistants are connected to the pads through the contact holes. A plurality of connection members(86) are formed on the insulating layer to connect the signal lines commonly. The connection members are connected to the contact assistants respectively. The insulating layer has a boundary line formed by etching, wherein the boundary line is wound. |
