<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially carry out printing processing of a job when the job not accompanying printing is received in an image forming apparatus which can reprint. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a job receiving means which receives a job, a job preserving means which preserves the received job, a printing means which carries out printing processing of the received job, a reprinting control means which makes the printing means carry out reprinting processing of the preserved job according to an input operation, and a timing means which measures a time. When a second job is received before the lapse of a predetermined time after fixed processing related to a first job is executed, the image forming apparatus is refrained from carrying out fixed processing related to the second job until the predetermined time passes. The image forming apparatus comprises a job judging means which judges whether or not the received job is one that does not accompany printing.
