A rechargeable air sanitising device including a housing having an air inlet 74 and an air outlet 76, a fan 80 disposed within the housing and adapted to move air from the air inlet, through the housing, and out of the air outlet, an air sanitizing device 58 disposed within the housing and capable of sanitizing air that flows through the housing, and a recharging interface adapted to electronically couple the rechargeable device with a power source to recharge a battery of the rechargeable device. The air sanitizing means includes an ultraviolet C light bulb (60, Fig. 5). Also claimed is a vacuum cleaner containing the rechargeable air sanitising device. |
