A broadcasting receiver and a sharing method of the same are provided to produce map data for a transport stream and to share broadcasting program data stored in a plurality of different broadcasting receivers using the produced map data. A broadcasting receiver includes a tuner(110), a signal processor(120), a map producing unit(130), a storage unit(140), a control unit(150), an interface unit(160) and an output unit(170). The tuner receives and selects a broadcasting signal corresponding to a channel selected by a user. The signal processor process the broadcasting signal to a viewing allowable signal. The storage unit stores all kinds of programs. The map producing unit extracts PSIP information from a transport stream, and produces a sub packet order using the extracted PSIP information, and produces map data for the transport stream based on the sub packet order. The control unit stores a transport stream in the storage unit.
