PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool which can improve the durability of a housing by suppressing the propagation of vibrations from a hammer case to the housing. SOLUTION: The impact driver (power tool) 1 is configured such that the rear end portion of a cylindrical hammer case 3 is fitted and fixed to the inner circumference of the front end portion of the housing 2 having a motor (driving source) 4 therein, and a hammer 26 and an impacting mechanism for generating an impact force by reciprocating the hammer 26 in the axial direction are arranged inside the hammer case 3. Further, a ring shape rubber damper (elastic body) 15 is provided in the fitting portion between the housing 2 and the hammer case 3, and the rubber damper 15 is sandwiched between the hammer case 3 and the housing 2 in the axial direction.
