A cooking appliance based on gas is provided to attach a sealing member to an upper surface glass so that a floating member is prevented from being introduced into a burner hole. A first part(420) of a sealing member(400) is positioned in an inner space provided at the lower portion of a burner ring(350). An upper surface glass(120) is inserted into an outer surface of a second part(440) of the sealing member. The second part is mounted along a brim of a burner hole to surround the brim of the burner hole. A third part(460) of the sealing member is positioned between the lower surface of the upper surface glass and the upper outer circumference of a burner guide.
