PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric resistance composition which has less variation in electric resistance and small voltage dependency of electric properties and ensures less deformation or variation due to continuous use, a member for an electrophotographic apparatus using the same and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electric resistance composition contains a resistance control agent for controlling the electric resistance of the composition, such as a carbon black and a compound of the general formula (1): H-(OC<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>)l-(C<SB>4</SB>H<SB>8</SB>O)m-(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)n-H (wherein m represents an integer of 1-70, and l and n each represent an integer satisfying (l+n)=1-2,178). Since the resistance control agent has a small dispersion particle diameter and is uniformly dispersed in the composition, the composition has less variation in electric resistance and small voltage dependency of electric properties and is so durable even in continuous use as to ensure less deformation or variation.
