A non-thermal plasma cell (10) for a non-thermal plasma filter, comprises an elongate tubular cylindrical earth element (12), an elongate high-voltage electrode (14) provided coaxially in the tubular earth element (12), and an air-flow guide element (16) for imparting rotation to an air-flow stream flowing in the tubular earth element (12). The air-flow guide element (16) has an air-flow directing surface (32) which extends at a non-parallel angle to a longitudinal extent of the high-voltage electrode (14). Methods are also provided. |
