<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device and electronic equipment for achieving accurate touch decision without making device configuration complicated. <P>SOLUTION: This electro-optical device 100 is provided with a display part 11 configured of a plurality of pixels 12 arranged like a matrix on a substrate 10; at least one-dimensionally arrayed photodetectors at the display part 11; and a touch decision means for deciding whether or not the display part has been touched by comparing the differentiated value of light intensity detected by the photodetector with a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
