A step rotating apparatus for an excavator are provided to fold and unfold a step when a driver loads or unloads the excavator by using a door sensor, a weight sensor, and a start sensor. A step rotating apparatus for an excavator comprises a step(10), a motor(20), a door sensor(30), a weight sensor(40), a start sensor(50), and a control unit(60). The step is installed beneath a cabin(C) and rotative around a rotating shaft(11). The motor rotates the rotating shaft clockwise or counter-clockwise. The door sensor is installed to detect whether a door(D) is opened or closed. The weight sensor is installed to the step to detect load applied to the step. The start sensor is installed to detect whether the excavator starts or not. The control unit receives signals from the door sensor, the weight sensor, and the start sensor, and regulates the motor selectively. |
