The data processing arrangement comprises a memory, which has multiple memory elements for storing a data item. A coding device is adjusted to assign a codeword to a data item to be stored in a memory element based on the signal information and stores the code word in the memory element. An examination device is adjusted to check whether a data item is a valid code word with the signal information allocated to the memory element.
