An apparatus for driving a cooling fan for a bus is provided to save the manufacturing cost by directly connecting an engine pulley with a fan pulley through a power transfer belt. An apparatus for driving a cooling fan for a bus comprises an engine pulley(110), a fan pulley(200) and a power transfer belt(270). The engine pulley is coupled with a crankshaft(100) and is rotated by power of an engine. The fan pulley is coupled with a cooling fan(120) to rotate the cooling fan. The power transfer belt directly connects the engine pulley with the cooling fan. The fan pulley adjusts tension of the power transfer belt by adjusting a pulley ratio. The fan pulley includes a pulley hub having a disk shape, an adjustment plate, a plurality of adjustment knuckles and a plurality of variable pulleys. The pulley hub is connected with the cooling fan. |
