PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing allowing a flange to be surely mounted to an opening of a casing body. SOLUTION: The casing comprises the casing body 10 having the circular opening 11, and the ring-like flange 20 mounted to the opening 11. The casing body 10 has two cutout parts 100 at the peripheral edge of the opening 11, and each cutout part 100 has three recesses 110 etc. different in cutout length to the outside in a radial direction and formed as the first, second and third recesses in order from the long cutout length to the outside in the radial direction. The flange 20 has projecting pieces 200 projected toward the respective cutout parts 110. Each projecting piece 200 has, at its tip, two steps 210 etc. different in projecting length to the outside in the radial direction and formed as the first and second steps in order from the long projecting length to the outside in the radial direction from the tip side of the projecting piece 200. The first step part can be inserted through the first recess but cannot be inserted through the second recess, and can be locked to the back face of the casing body located radially outside from the second recess.
