<p>A battery capacity is prevented from reducing while being charged and a charge time is prevented from being long. Power supply source is automatically switched to a main circuit for charging. An electronic apparatus (100) is provided with a main circuit (4) which operates by being supplied with power from a battery (1), and a switch (21) for turning on/off the power supply from the battery (1) to the main circuit (4). A switch control signal is generated for turning on/off the switch (21) in accordance with whether the electronic apparatus (100) and the charger (200) are connected or not. In a status where the electronic apparatus (100) is removed from the charger (200), the switch (21) is turned on by the switch control signal, and power is supplied from the battery (1) to the main circuit (4). When the electronic apparatus (100) is connected to the charger (200), charging of the battery (1) and power supply from the charger (200) to the main circuit (4) are started, the switch (21) is turned off by the switch control signal and power supply from the battery (1) to the main circuit (4) is stopped.</p> |
