<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygon scanner motor which has improved energy efficiency by reducing the windage loss of a rotor having a few polygon mirror faces. <P>SOLUTION: A polygon mirror 5 has five or less mirror faces having a plate thickness of 5 mm or larger; and a disk 18 is provided at least at one side of the polygon mirror 5 in axial direction, the disk 18 forming a gap 19 from the intermediate part to the outer circumferential part in the radial direction of the mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
