PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot heater/warmer which can increase and decrease the number of shelf plates according to the height of goods to be displayed and can store an extra shelf plate and a spare shelf plate effectively. SOLUTION: Because a rail 32 is arranged so that distances a, b between shelf plates 35 can be varied, the interval between the shelf plates 35 can be adjusted according to the height of goods to be displayed. Although an extra shelf plate 35 remains when the interval a, b between the shelf plates 35 are widened and the number of the shelf plates 35 is reduced, this unneeded extra shelf 35 is not lost since it can be stored in a rail 32a which is a spare shelf plate storing part in a casing 1. In addition, when the sale of the goods are conducted on the shelf plate 35, they can be sold maintaining a good condition without lowering the temperature of the goods since the extra shelf plate 35 can be stored in the rail 32a. Furthermore, the goods can be displayed and sold in a preferable situation from the aspect of good hygiene since a reserved shelf plate 35 is sterilized by heat while the reserved shelf plate 35 is preheated in the casing 1.
