A liquid crystal display device and a method of fabricating the same are provided to reduce fabricating cost and processing time by repairing a portion region of a pixel electrode without reworking. A liquid crystal display device includes a thin transistor substrate, a color filter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer(130). The thin transistor substrate includes a thin transistor and a pixel electrode. The thin transistor includes a substrate(110), a gate line(102), a data line, a source electrode(105), and a drain electrode(107). The gate line and the data line are formed vertically and horizontally on the transparent substrate to define a pixel region. The source electrode and the drain electrode are formed at the intersection point of the gate line and the data line. The pixel electrode contacts to the drain electrode. The pixel electrode has a repair hole which a portion of the pixel electrode is removed. |
