<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate delays in recognition and the shutdown operations of a motor by preventing misrecognition and wrong reception between both control sections, when a fault occurs in a motor control unit having upper and lower control sections. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control unit is so constituted as to perform serial communication between a first upper control section and a second lower control section, and transmits an alarm signal toward the first control section from the second control section, when a fault occurs. The first control section forms a signal for stopping the formation of a drive signal for driving a motor at the second control section, based on the change information of the signal from the second control section by serial communication and the alarm signal for outputting to the side of the second control section by serial communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
