PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas apparatus monitoring device capable of detecting operation start of the gas apparatus without receiving a signal from a gas apparatus control device, and performing apparatus discrimination by using the information. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a flow measuring means 17 for measuring a gas flow rate, a gas shut-off valve 2c for shutting off a gas channel at an abnormal time, an information storage means 10b for storing various information based on a measurement result by the flow measuring means 17, a wireless module 11 for transmitting/receiving information to/from a plurality of partners, and a communication switching means 10c for switching a communication frequency band corresponding to the partner. The wireless module 11 is constituted integrally with a control circuit substrate 10 constituting the flow measuring means 17 and stored in a gas meter 2, and has at least a communication frequency band with a base station 14 and each communication frequency band with a plurality of gas apparatuses, and has a constitution wherein an operation start signal detected by an apparatus detection means 22 of the gas apparatus is transmitted as apparatus information by using an apparatus wireless module 11d, and each inspection period classified by each apparatus is detected based on the information.
