<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by decreasing the number of assembly parts and simplifying an assembly process. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting chip and a light-receiving chip are loaded on the same surface of a lead frame 21 and then bonded, connected and molded of a light-transmitting resin to form a light-emitting element 22 and a light-receiving element 23 for tie-bar cut. The lead frames 21 on the light-emitting element 22 side and the light-receiving element 23 side are bent so that the light-emitting chip and the light-receiving chip are opposed mutually. The light-emitting element 22, the light-receiving element 23, the lead frame 21 and a part of a connector terminal 24' are molded of a light-shielding resin, and the light-emitting element 22, the light-receiving element 23, the lead frame 21 and the connector terminal 24' are unified.
