PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing thread having a sufficient sewing strength and an excellent sewability, following repeated stretching deformation of a fabric without being cut and having a high elongation recovery. SOLUTION: The sewing thread includes a polyoxymethylene fiber. Any polymer such as a homopolymer, a copolymer (including a terpolymer, or the like), or the like can be used as a polyoxymethylene resin constituting the fiber without specific restrictions. The molecular structure of the polyoxymethylene resin is not especially limited and the polyoxymethylene resin having a straight-chain structure, a branched-chain structure or a crosslinked structure can be used.
