<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor having a connection mechanism capable of suppressing the rattling of a swash cam in the forward and reverse rotating directions and the inclination of the swash cam in a direction different from that when a capacity is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor including a piston, a rotor which is connected with a drive shaft and integrally rotate with the drive shaft, and a swash cam which integrally rotate via the rotor and the connection mechanism and connected so as to be capable of tilting in the forward and reverse directions in the axial direction. The compressor formed so as to reciprocate the piston with respect to the rotation of the rotor and the swash cam based on a rotation of the drive shaft via slide-contacting with the swash cam. The connection mechanism includes a roller with rotator surface (especially, hemispherical roller), a holding pin which forms a shaft unit of the roller, a groove portion in which the roller is rotatably fit and which is formed in the swash cam, and a restraint surface which is formed on the rotor and slides with a bottom surface located at an opposite side of the groove portion of the roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
