PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing detecting unit capable of detecting opening/closing of a plurality of frame bodies with one sensor almost without being affected by the relative displacement among the frame bodies and capable of achieving both accurate detection of the opening/closing and reduction of the cost of parts; and a game machine equipped with the opening/closing detecting unit. SOLUTION: The opening/closing detecting unit 1 is attached to only one of a casing frame 4, a machine frame 8 and an ornament frame 12 for detecting the opening/closing between the casing frame 4 and the machine frame 8 enclosing the whole pachinko machine 2 and the opening/closing between the machine frame 8 and the ornament frame 12. The opening/closing detecting unit 1 includes a photointerrupter 1a and abutting parts 1d and 1e energized to other frame bodies than the frame body to which the opening/closing detecting unit is attached. The opening/closing detecting unit 1 can detect both the opening/closing between the casing frame 4 and the machine frame 8 and opening/closing between the machine frame 8 and the ornament frame 12.
