PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead structure of a pneumatic tire capable of making a carcass ply exhibit sufficient drawing resistance on actions of high filled internal pressure and a large load. SOLUTION: This bead structure is constituted by mooring each side of one sheet or more of the carcass plies 3 troidally extending between a pair of beads 2 to each of bead cores 4 disposed in the beads 2. Each side of the carcass plies 3 is forked or branched to the inside and outside of the tire width direction, and each branched part 3a and 3b is disposed among each divided part 4a, 4b and 4c of the bead core 4 divided into three in the tire width direction. A bent part 3c hung on the wedge-shaped divided part 4b held between the branched parts 3a and 3b of the carcass plies 3 is formed at the idle end of one of the branched parts 3a and 3b.
