ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR CERAMIC FIBER SHEET HAVING A GOOD ADHESIVE PROPERTY IN HIGH TEMPERATURE REDUCTION ENVIRONMENT

A ceramic adhesive composition for a ceramic fiber sheet is provided to improve the adhesion between a ceramic fiber and a ceramic fiber sheet, thereby enhancing the mechanical strength and heat transmission characteristics of a ceramic fiber honeycomb filter. A ceramic adhesive composition for a ceramic fiber sheet comprises 100 parts by weight of a metal powder; and 100-300 parts by weight of a liquid thermosetting resin. Preferably the metal powder is at least one selected from the group consisting of silicon, tungsten, aluminum and titanium and has a particle size of 0.1-50 micrometers; and the liquid thermosetting resin comprises a phenolic resin and contains 40 wt% or more of a solid part.
