A fuel tank safeguard for a vehicle is provided to prevent deformation of a fuel tank causing fuel leak by causing explosion of an explosive when a rear-end collision occurs, resulting in separation of the fuel tank from a vehicle body as a band strap is released from a mounting bracket. A fuel tank safeguard(100) for a vehicle comprises a band strap(10), a mounting bracket(20), an explosive, and a crash sensor(40). The band strap, whose one end is fixed to a vehicle body(13) equipped with a fuel tank(11), is formed with a mounting part to securely mount the fuel tank. The mounting bracket is installed on the other end of the band strap to allow the other end of the band strap to be mounted by a fixing member. The explosive is provided on a mounting position of the fixing member inside the fixing bracket to release a connection of the mounting bracket by the fixing member. The crash sensor is installed on the backside of the vehicle to detect crash of the vehicle and induce explosion of the explosive when a rear-end collision occurs.
