<p>A method for displaying an arbitrary ticker while a user is in an arbitrary application session in a mobile communication device is provided to allow a user not to miss an important message that is neglected by an application that is currently executed. A callback to be called when a new message arrives is registered in a messaging module. An arrived new message is displayed as a scrolling message or in the form of a ticker at a soft key region or on an annunciator bar of a mobile communication device. While the new message is displayed as the scrolling message or in the form of the ticker, a current application or session is continuously performed.</p> |
