PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition consisting of carbon fibers and a thermoplastic resin, while holding advantageous points of handling property and molding property of its molding material as they are, improved with the bonding property of the carbon fibers with the thermoplastic resin, and giving a molded article excellent in dynamic characteristics. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin consists of 0.1 to 10 wt.% compound having an ether bond and at least 3 epoxy groups in its molecule, 1 to 70 wt.% carbon fibers and 20 to 98.8 wt.% thermoplastic resin having at least 1 kind of a functional group selected from the group consisting of amino, carboxy and acid anhydride groups.
