The method involves graining a molding surface of a molding element of a mold under an electro-chemical action, where the molding surface of the molding element contacts with a preform of a service tray e.g. lunch tray, to be molded. A part of the molding surface of the molding element is provided with a grained coating having roughness surface, where the molding surface is made of a thermal conductive material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a process for manufacturing a lunch tray (2) a mold for implementing a service tray manufacturing method (3) a service tray i.e. a lunch tray, made of tinted resin.
