The invention relates to a door closer assembly (10) consisting of modular units comprising at least one electromechanical drive device working against the effect of a closing spring, an electric motor (16) and a gear (14) connecting the drive shaft of the electric motor (16) to the driven shaft of the door closer (12), wherein the door closer (12) and the gear (14) form a modular unit enclosed by a support housing (18), the electric motor (16) being flange-mounted on the front face of said housing and wherein a tooth chain gear (26) serves as transmission element connecting the shaft outputs of the gear (14) and the door closer (12). |
