A device for inspecting the straightness of a robot gun for spot welding is provided to prevent welding defects of vehicle body panels by replacing electrodes at the appropriate time. A device for inspecting the straightness of a robot gun for spot welding comprises: a base plate(10) which has top and bottom face placement parts(11,12) formed thereon, and side face holders(13) formed on both sides thereof; movable discs(20) which are put on the top and bottom bases of the base plate, which have inspecting grooved portions(21) formed on central portions thereof such that a fixed electrode and a movable electrode are inserted into the inspecting grooved portions, and of which outer peripheral surfaces are elastically supported to the side face holders by coil springs(40); and potentiometers(30) installed between the outer peripheral surfaces of the movable discs and the side face holders to inspect defects in the straightness of electrodes by sensing movements of the movable discs.
