PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which is advantageous for surely performing electromagnetic shielding of a camera module. SOLUTION: The imaging device 20 includes the camera module 22 and a socket 24 on which the camera module 22 is mounted. The socket 24 has a socket main body 36, wherein four side walls 3604 of the socket main body 36 have mutually opposite internal surfaces and external surfaces disposed opposite the internal surfaces, and includes a plurality of shield plates 38 for the socket which are formed of materials having electromagnetic shielding property and elasticity and fitted to the respective side walls 3604 to cover the external surfaces of the four side walls 3604. End portions 3810 and 3811 of adjacent shield plates 38 for the socket are put one over the other at corner parts 3650 where adjacent side walls 3604 of the socket main body 36 cross each other, and energized in directions wherein they come into contact with each other with the elasticity that the respective shield plates 38 for the socket have.
