摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a reactor core for uprated power operation. SOLUTION: A set of restrictions to be satisfied for uprated power operation is inputted, and a test reactor core design is created on the basis of the restrictions. For the purpose of evaluating the test reactor core design on the basis of the restrictions, one or more automated tools may be selected from among a set of automating tools. Thereafter, selected tools may be operated. The operation of the automating tools includes simulation of the operation of a reactor by using the test reactor core design, to generate a plurality of outputs on the basis of the restrictions, comparison of the outputs with the restrictions, and provision of data which indicate the restriction breached by the reactor core design during the simulation, on the basis of the comparison. One or more automating tools are repeated, until the test reactor core design satisfies all the restrictions for uprated power operation, and as a result, the reactor core design for uprated power operation is indicated.
