<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying high frequency power for separating an in vivo indwelling member with short separation time. <P>SOLUTION: The high frequency power supply apparatus 5 is characterized by that control is performed so as to output second high frequency power lower than first high frequency power for heating and fusing in the apparatus for heating and fusing a water swellable and heat soluble connection member 2 and separating the in vivo indwelling member 3 by energizing a conductive wire to the in vivo indwelling member 3 connected through the connection member 2 to the distal end of the conductive wire.
