A liquid crystal panel is provided to reduce a defect caused as an alignment layer is inclined when the alignment layer is rubbed by having a pattern protrusively formed on an upper substrate by coating a seal line on an inner side of edges of the alignment layer. A liquid crystal panel includes a lower substrate(11) on which a lower BM(Black Matrix), a storage capacitor, a switching element, and wirings of a data line and a gate line are formed, on which pixel electrode(17) and an upper BM are provided, on which an alignment layer is formed, and an upper substrate(10) having a transparent electrode and an alignment layer formed thereon and attached to the lower substrate in a facing manner, and liquid crystal injected between the upper and lower substrates. A plurality of central protruded patterns(20-1) are formed vertically along positions facing the positions where the upper BM formed at an upper portion of the data line are formed at a lower portion of the alignment layer. The plurality of central protruded patterns are not connected with adjacent central protruded patterns. |
