A light diffusion member for an LCD device, a light diffusion unit for the LCD device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to bent the circumference of a light diffusion plate to reinforce the level holding power of the light diffusion plate easily, thereby improving the efficiency of work and the quality of LCD display. A light diffusion member(12) supports both ends of a light diffusion plate and is assembled by bending the light diffusion plate with thickness thin enough to be bent when the light diffusion member is at a level. The light diffusion member has a rectangle-shaped upper plate(2) and side plates(3-6) which are bent from the four sides of the upper plate and stand down. The light diffusion member for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device reinforces power for holding the level of the light diffusion plate by preventing the upper plate of the light diffusion member with the thin thickness from being bent.
