<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flexural stress that is generated in a stopper.SOLUTION: A shock absorber 100 includes: a cylinder 1; a piston 2; a piston rod 3; damping valves 8, 9; a stopper 10 for regulating an extension side stroke of the shock absorber 100; a cushion 12 for absorbing a shock of the shock absorber 100 in the maximum extended position; and a support 11 having an outermost diameter of a contact part to the stopper 10 in the maximum extended position of the shock absorber 100 that is smaller than an outermost diameter of a contact part to the cushion 12.</p> |
